Chiropractic Care

Back pain is the second most common neurological ailment in the United States – only headache is more common.

Adjust your thinking and your health

Join the millions of Americans who have not only found relief from back pain, but also a pathway to wellness with chiropractic's natural, drug-free approach to healthcare.

Your spinal column, made up of 24 independent vertebrae, is what allows your body to move, twist, and bend through every motion of your busy day. It also encases and helps protect the delicate nerve tissue that carries every communication between your brain and body. This is why we believe the first step to a healthy and active lifestyle is a healthy spine.

As chiropractors, we recognize there is an inherent ability within the human body to heal itself and maintain a healthy, vibrant state. It is our job to assist in maintaining that state, and to facilitate the body's self healing when it is out of balance. Chiropractic seeks to find and address the underlying cause of a condition or symptom, rather than merely treat symptoms.

Your current health is the result of your habits, your thoughts, your actions, and all the circumstances of your life. Nothing can be done to change the past; we are here to help your future health. We are your partners in health, helping you achieve an optimum level of wellness. Together we can make a positive difference in how you feel. Service to our patients is our top priority.

What to expect

Chiropractors provide natural, drug-less, non-surgical health treatments and rely on the body's inherent recuperative abilities. As chiropractors, we typically diagnose and treat patients whose health problems are associated with the body's muscular, nervous, and skeletal systems. We may also recommend changes in your lifestyle, incorporation of exercise, nutrition and postural education.

Like other health practitioners, chiropractors follow a standard routine to secure the information we need for diagnosis and treatment. On your first visit, we'll take your medical history, measure your range of motion, and conduct physical and other diagnostic tests which are important tools in determining your treatment plan. We also conduct a postural and spinal analysis because vertebral dysfunction may alter many important body functions.

Chiropractic Doctors are experts at locating and analyzing improper placement of the vertebrae and correcting misalignments, enabling the body to return to its proper alignment. This is key in correcting the "spinal misalignment complex," which can interfere with your body's normal functioning and long-term health.

The spine and the nerves that connect to it are part of an incredibly complex system that require years of study to understand. While all doctors receive basic training on the health and care of the musculoskeletal system, Chiropractors can specifically focus on the health of the spine and nerves alone. Surgery or long term use of narcotic pain medications are usually the only two options offered to patients with disorders like sciatica, compressed discs, or chronic pain with no apparent cause.  If you've sought help from other doctors and received sparse testing or a general lack of interest in your care, visiting our clinic could change your life.
